Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.44% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which rose 9.94% or 1.54 points to trade at 17.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) added 9.94% or 1.80 points to end at 19.90 and Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012) was up 9.89% or 2.65 points to 29.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which fell 9.97% or 4.65 points to trade at 42.00 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) declined 6.51% or 11.00 points to end at 158.00 and Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111) was down 6.14% or 11.60 points to 177.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 117 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.30% or 1.16 to $87.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.14% or 1.09 to hit $94.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 3.25 to trade at $1,766.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 3.88, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 106.85.
