Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 6.19% or 1.30 points to trade at 22.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 6.03% or 0.62 points to end at 10.90 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 4.90% or 0.50 points to 10.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which fell 3.95% or 0.76 points to trade at 18.50 at the close. National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) declined 3.69% or 0.52 points to end at 13.58 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) was down 2.81% or 1.20 points to 41.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 108 to 75 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.69% or 0.52 to 13.58.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.12% or 0.07 to $57.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $62.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 5.25 to trade at $1488.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 4.1584, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 97.635.
