Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340), which rose 3.14% or 1.21 points to trade at 39.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 3.11% or 0.35 points to end at 11.60 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was up 3.06% or 2.75 points to 92.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which fell 5.08% or 1.53 points to trade at 28.60 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 3.79% or 0.55 points to end at 13.95 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) was down 3.15% or 1.29 points to 39.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 33.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.68% or 0.41 to $60.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.82% or 0.53 to hit $64.39 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.06% or 24.30 to trade at $1201.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.55% to 4.2753, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 93.90.
