Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004), which rose 4.62% or 3.80 points to trade at 86.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) added 3.00% or 0.90 points to end at 30.90 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was up 2.87% or 0.54 points to 19.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 9.84% or 7.20 points to trade at 66.00 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) declined 9.55% or 2.10 points to end at 19.88 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) was down 6.93% or 1.42 points to 19.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.67% or 0.32 to $47.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.85% or 0.43 to hit $50.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 16.11 to trade at $1274.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.67% to 4.3877, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.67% at 93.97.
