Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate Development and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 8.59% or 2.65 points to trade at 33.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) added 6.29% or 4.40 points to end at 74.40 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) was up 5.96% or 1.30 points to 23.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090), which fell 4.03% or 0.60 points to trade at 14.30 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) declined 3.45% or 0.95 points to end at 26.60 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was down 3.08% or 0.95 points to 29.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 116 to 57 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 8.59% or 2.65 to 33.50.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.25% or 1.13 to $49.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.01% or 1.20 to hit $58.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1251.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.2674, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 96.322.
