Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Insurance and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170), which rose 10.00% or 2.65 points to trade at 29.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200) added 6.40% or 5.80 points to end at 96.40 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) was up 3.31% or 1.00 points to 31.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which fell 7.15% or 2.65 points to trade at 34.40 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) declined 6.88% or 3.90 points to end at 52.80 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) was down 5.47% or 2.00 points to 34.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 181 to 59 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.77% or 0.60 to $77.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.21% or 1.03 to hit $84.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 10.75 to trade at $1,756.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 3.92, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 105.66.
