Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190), which rose 9.18% or 1.80 points to trade at 21.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) added 8.97% or 2.17 points to end at 26.35 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) was up 6.83% or 2.50 points to 39.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180), which fell 2.78% or 1.30 points to trade at 45.50 at the close. Almarai Company (SE:2280) declined 2.38% or 1.30 points to end at 53.30 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 2.23% or 0.70 points to 30.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 103 to 81 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Food Products Co. (SE:2100) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.83% or 2.50 to 39.10.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.39% or 0.14 to $36.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.04% or 0.40 to hit $38.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 2.20 to trade at $1737.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.2249, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 97.330.
