Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which rose 9.89% or 2.80 points to trade at 31.10 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) added 4.08% or 1.55 points to end at 39.50 and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) was up 3.72% or 1.60 points to 44.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290), which fell 3.31% or 2.40 points to trade at 70.10 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) declined 3.28% or 4.00 points to end at 118.00 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was down 2.90% or 5.60 points to 187.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 125 to 70 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.89% or 2.80 to 31.10. Shares in National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.08% or 1.55 to 39.50. Shares in Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.72% or 1.60 to 44.65.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.31% or 0.82 to $61.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.10% or 0.73 to hit $65.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 13.95 to trade at $1792.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 4.5023, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 91.297.
