Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142), which rose 6.95% or 7.60 points to trade at 117.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Cement Co (TADAWUL:3010) added 4.51% or 1.10 points to end at 25.50 and Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200) was up 4.38% or 7.80 points to 185.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which fell 9.96% or 2.66 points to trade at 24.04 at the close. Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170) declined 9.34% or 1.90 points to end at 18.44 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was down 5.02% or 0.74 points to 14.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 171 to 127 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.80% or 0.57 to $72.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.72% or 0.54 to hit $75.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.80 to trade at $2,748.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 103.67.
