Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Insurance and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282), which rose 9.91% or 6.50 points to trade at 72.10 at the close. Meanwhile, ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382) added 8.57% or 1.80 points to end at 22.80 and Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (TADAWUL:4141) was up 7.58% or 2.50 points to 35.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230), which fell 3.59% or 6.20 points to trade at 166.40 at the close. Umm Al-Qura (TADAWUL:3005) declined 2.97% or 0.50 points to end at 16.36 and Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) was down 2.57% or 0.13 points to 4.92.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 117 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382) rose to all time highs; up 8.57% or 1.80 to 22.80.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.78% or 1.35 to $77.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.70% or 1.37 to hit $81.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 11.45 to trade at $1,973.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.53% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 103.45.
