Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Multi Investment and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which rose 9.81% or 9.40 points to trade at 105.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) added 7.28% or 7.40 points to end at 109.00 and United Electronics Company (TADAWUL:4003) was up 5.67% or 4.80 points to 89.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300), which fell 2.87% or 0.50 points to trade at 16.90 at the close. Riyad REIT (TADAWUL:4330) declined 2.76% or 0.32 points to end at 11.28 and The Saudi British Bank (TADAWUL:1060) was down 2.31% or 0.95 points to 40.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 100 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 7.28% or 7.40 to 109.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.41% or 0.36 to $88.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.30% or 0.28 to hit $93.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.85 to trade at $1,719.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.60% to 3.69, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.70% at 111.79.
