Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 6.60% or 0.71 points to trade at 11.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) added 4.36% or 0.83 points to end at 19.86 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 4.26% or 1.03 points to 25.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which fell 5.53% or 1.78 points to trade at 30.40 at the close. Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) declined 3.87% or 3.83 points to end at 95.10 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was down 3.71% or 1.57 points to 40.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 100 to 81 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.87% or 3.83 to 95.10. Shares in Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.26% or 1.03 to 25.20. Shares in Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.71% or 1.57 to 40.80.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.44% or 0.32 to $71.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.68% or 0.54 to hit $79.03 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.50 to trade at $1288.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.68% to 4.3872, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 93.97.
