Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213), which rose 9.96% or 9.80 points to trade at 108.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Jahez International Company for Information Systems Technology SCJSC (TADAWUL:6017) added 6.09% or 1.95 points to end at 33.95 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) was up 4.75% or 3.60 points to 79.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203), which fell 4.03% or 49.40 points to trade at 1,176.20 at the close. United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:4260) declined 2.72% or 2.30 points to end at 82.30 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) was down 2.66% or 2.80 points to 102.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 135 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.96% or 9.80 to 108.20.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $75.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $79.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 9.29 to trade at $2,768.49 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 3.92, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 107.75.
