Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 3.76% or 0.42 points to trade at 11.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) added 3.51% or 0.40 points to end at 11.80 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was up 3.32% or 0.48 points to 14.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which fell 3.61% or 1.00 points to trade at 26.70 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) declined 2.28% or 2.40 points to end at 103.00 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was down 2.21% or 0.65 points to 28.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 94 to 83 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.28% or 0.72 to $56.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.50% or 0.91 to hit $61.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.91% or 29.75 to trade at $1530.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 4.1515, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 98.208.
