Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 9.93% or 21.40 points to trade at 237.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) added 6.66% or 1.34 points to end at 21.46 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 4.87% or 1.90 points to 40.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 4.23% or 0.50 points to trade at 11.32 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 3.78% or 0.52 points to end at 13.22 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was down 3.39% or 0.84 points to 23.96.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 110 to 65 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) rose to 3-years highs; up 6.66% or 1.34 to 21.46.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.21% or 0.15 to $72.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $77.46 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.80 to trade at $1253.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.3377, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 95.00.
