Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Insurance and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which rose 3.68% or 0.48 points to trade at 13.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) added 3.13% or 0.26 points to end at 8.58 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 2.99% or 0.75 points to 25.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 3.46% or 0.44 points to trade at 12.28 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) declined 2.76% or 0.44 points to end at 15.50 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was down 2.43% or 0.85 points to 34.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 78 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.12% or 0.63 to $55.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.99% or 0.62 to hit $61.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 4.45 to trade at $1516.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.1120, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 98.495.
