Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which rose 4.94% or 7.00 points to trade at 148.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Ataa Educational Co (SE:4292) added 3.30% or 2.10 points to end at 65.70 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was up 3.06% or 0.80 points to 26.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050), which fell 4.60% or 3.80 points to trade at 78.80 at the close. Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) declined 4.26% or 2.05 points to end at 46.10 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was down 4.00% or 4.10 points to 98.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 42 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ataa Educational Co (SE:4292) rose to all time highs; up 3.30% or 2.10 to 65.70.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $69.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $71.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 3.80 to trade at $1749.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.4008, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 92.968.
