Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 9.93% or 2.65 points to trade at 29.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 9.90% or 2.28 points to end at 25.30 and Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) was up 6.45% or 1.00 points to 16.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which fell 6.27% or 1.70 points to trade at 25.40 at the close. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) declined 5.21% or 2.15 points to end at 39.15 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 4.13% or 1.45 points to 33.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 89 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 6.45% or 1.00 to 16.50.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.14% or 0.49 to $42.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.28% or 0.58 to hit $44.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.81% or 16.40 to trade at $1996.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.4789, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 92.273.
