Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Cement, Media & Publishing and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which rose 4.91% or 1.60 points to trade at 34.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 4.28% or 0.80 points to end at 19.50 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was up 3.27% or 0.40 points to 12.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 3.27% or 0.45 points to trade at 13.30 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 2.70% or 0.100 points to end at 3.600 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) was down 2.63% or 1.00 points to 37.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 80 to 62 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.60% or 0.32 to $53.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.59% or 0.33 to hit $55.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.05 to trade at $1231.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 3.9720, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 101.54.
