Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Retail, Insurance and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 3.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 10.00% or 2.08 points to trade at 22.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 10.00% or 1.80 points to end at 19.80 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was up 9.99% or 1.86 points to 20.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maharah Human Resources Co (SE:1831), which fell 3.69% or 2.20 points to trade at 57.50 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) declined 3.29% or 0.42 points to end at 12.36 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) was down 1.90% or 0.85 points to 43.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 190 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.77% or 0.18 to $23.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.37% or 0.64 to hit $27.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 5.64% or 88.40 to trade at $1656.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.82% to 4.0578, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7560.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.17% at 102.030.
