Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 2.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which rose 9.96% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) added 8.25% or 13.00 points to end at 170.60 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) was up 7.58% or 5.80 points to 82.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which fell 9.96% or 10.60 points to trade at 95.80 at the close. Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) declined 9.70% or 5.20 points to end at 48.40 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was down 1.46% or 0.65 points to 43.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 245 to 44 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.23% or 0.17 to $75.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.54% or 0.43 to hit $79.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 3.33% or 79.70 to trade at $2,311.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.81% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.82% at 104.92.
