Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Insurance and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.96% or 2.80 points to trade at 30.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.96% or 2.50 points to end at 27.60 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) was up 9.94% or 3.20 points to 35.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sadr Logistics Co (SE:1832), which fell 3.26% or 14.00 points to trade at 416.00 at the close. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (SE:8240) declined 2.64% or 0.95 points to end at 35.05 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was down 2.09% or 2.40 points to 112.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.46% or 0.36 to $78.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.45% or 0.37 to hit $81.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 2.15 to trade at $1781.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.47% to 4.1989, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 96.892.
