Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 5.75% or 0.60 points to trade at 11.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) added 4.52% or 1.50 points to end at 34.70 and National Com Bnk (SE:1180) was up 4.15% or 1.85 points to 46.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040), which fell 5.64% or 0.92 points to trade at 15.38 at the close. Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) declined 5.57% or 1.95 points to end at 33.05 and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) was down 5.53% or 1.12 points to 19.14.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 69 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 9.93% or 5.44 to $60.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 10.61% or 6.39 to hit $66.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 5.75 to trade at $1505.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.60% to 4.1292, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 98.188.
