Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Telecoms & IT and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.96% or 4.70 points to trade at 51.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 9.90% or 5.20 points to end at 57.70 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 9.90% or 3.05 points to 33.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which fell 4.00% or 11.20 points to trade at 268.80 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) declined 2.57% or 0.40 points to end at 15.18 and Bonyan REIT (SE:4347) was down 2.27% or 0.21 points to 9.04.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 57 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 5.32% or 1.97 to $39.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 4.76% or 1.87 to hit $41.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 10.70 to trade at $1918.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.63% to 4.4218, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 93.468.
