Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financial Services and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.91% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.86% or 1.02 points to trade at 11.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 9.75% or 1.08 points to end at 12.16 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was up 9.51% or 1.00 points to 11.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Kathiri Holding Co (SE:3008), which fell 9.88% or 12.80 points to trade at 116.80 at the close. Al Aseel Co Ltd (SE:4012) declined 2.49% or 1.05 points to end at 41.10 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was down 2.15% or 1.70 points to 77.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 53 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.85% or 0.49 to $57.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.88% or 0.56 to hit $62.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.05 to trade at $1467.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.07% to 4.1471, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 97.790.
