Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 10.00% or 1.92 points to trade at 21.12 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) added 9.92% or 2.37 points to end at 26.25 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 6.03% or 3.50 points to 61.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011), which fell 3.99% or 0.64 points to trade at 15.40 at the close. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) declined 3.09% or 0.85 points to end at 26.65 and Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) was down 2.99% or 1.60 points to 51.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 51 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.92% or 2.37 to 26.25. Shares in Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.99% or 1.60 to 51.90.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.58% or 0.89 to $57.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.44% or 0.89 to hit $62.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.35 to trade at $1511.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.09% to 4.1817, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 97.200.
