Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which rose 9.13% or 4.30 points to trade at 51.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Musharaka REIT (SE:4335) added 6.63% or 0.53 points to end at 8.52 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) was up 3.77% or 2.00 points to 55.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which fell 9.93% or 2.14 points to trade at 19.42 at the close. National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) declined 1.36% or 0.34 points to end at 24.66 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) was down 1.36% or 0.40 points to 29.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 153 to 38 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.13% or 4.30 to 51.40.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.28% or 0.51 to $40.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.50% or 0.63 to hit $42.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 6.30 to trade at $1786.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.2261, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 97.023.
