Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which rose 9.20% or 1.98 points to trade at 23.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (TADAWUL:4013) was up 6.39% or 14.40 points to 239.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which fell 6.31% or 2.55 points to trade at 37.85 at the close. Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) declined 3.32% or 0.48 points to end at 13.98 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) was down 2.60% or 1.50 points to 56.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 116 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.32% or 0.48 to 13.98.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.34% or 1.95 to $85.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.85% or 2.51 to hit $89.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 18.90 to trade at $2,016.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 106.42.
