Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which rose 10.00% or 1.20 points to trade at 13.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 4.93% or 5.00 points to end at 106.40 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) was up 3.98% or 1.85 points to 48.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab National Bank (SE:1080), which fell 2.99% or 0.80 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 2.33% or 0.50 points to end at 20.98 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) was down 1.92% or 0.44 points to 22.44.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 65 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) rose to all time highs; rising 4.93% or 5.00 to 106.40.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.15% or 0.09 to $60.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $66.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.95 to trade at $1417.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.2219, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 96.632.
