Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214), which rose 9.83% or 2.35 points to trade at 26.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) added 5.81% or 0.82 points to end at 14.94 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) was up 5.20% or 5.80 points to 117.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Airlines Catering Company (TADAWUL:6004), which fell 7.37% or 7.00 points to trade at 88.00 at the close. Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) declined 2.71% or 1.30 points to end at 46.70 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) was down 2.58% or 0.40 points to 15.08.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 161 to 98 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.83% or 2.35 to 26.25. Shares in The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) rose to all time highs; up 5.20% or 5.80 to 117.40.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.10% or 0.78 to $71.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.04% or 0.78 to hit $75.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 8.45 to trade at $1,984.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 102.87.
