Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.60% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008), which rose 9.89% or 5.50 points to trade at 61.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201) added 7.78% or 6.10 points to end at 84.50 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) was up 6.11% or 5.50 points to 95.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SABIC AgriNutrients Co (TADAWUL:2020), which fell 8.18% or 11.40 points to trade at 128.00 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) declined 6.46% or 9.80 points to end at 142.00 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3080) was down 2.19% or 0.90 points to 40.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 183 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.11% or 5.50 to 95.50.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.72% or 0.50 to $69.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.74% or 0.55 to hit $75.14 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.33% or 26.60 to trade at $1,975.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.08% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.76.
