Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010), which rose 7.50% or 8.80 points to trade at 126.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:2070) added 6.60% or 1.90 points to end at 30.70 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) was up 6.44% or 7.20 points to 119.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331), which fell 3.38% or 0.64 points to trade at 18.30 at the close. Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL:4250) declined 3.36% or 0.82 points to end at 23.62 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) was down 2.71% or 5.60 points to 201.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 154 to 96 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.88% or 0.64 to $72.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.03% or 0.79 to hit $76.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.14% or 22.55 to trade at $1,962.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 103.28.
