Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.56% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180), which rose 10.00% or 1.88 points to trade at 20.68 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2080) added 6.01% or 5.40 points to end at 95.30 and Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (TADAWUL:8012) was up 5.32% or 0.98 points to 19.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143), which fell 7.72% or 5.50 points to trade at 65.70 at the close. Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313) declined 7.11% or 4.90 points to end at 64.00 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was down 6.50% or 3.20 points to 46.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 153 to 132 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2080) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.01% or 5.40 to 95.30.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.11% or 0.09 to $80.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.11% or 0.09 to hit $84.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.75 to trade at $2,419.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 103.87.
