Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which rose 10.00% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.98% or 2.90 points to end at 31.95 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 9.98% or 1.26 points to 13.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 4.72% or 0.66 points to trade at 13.32 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) declined 3.72% or 0.80 points to end at 20.70 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) was down 3.15% or 1.70 points to 52.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 117 to 70 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.91% or 0.35 to $38.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.88% or 0.36 to hit $41.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 3.10 to trade at $1908.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.4374, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 92.868.
