Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Industrial Investment and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.52% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210), which rose 4.20% or 0.94 points to trade at 23.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) added 4.18% or 1.75 points to end at 43.60 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was up 3.97% or 0.33 points to 8.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (SE:2050), which fell 1.73% or 0.55 points to trade at 31.20 at the close. Jarir Marketing Co (SE:4190) declined 1.50% or 2.60 points to end at 170.60 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) was down 1.45% or 0.70 points to 47.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 116 to 56 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.97% or 0.33 to 8.65.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.28% or 0.17 to $60.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.54% or 0.36 to hit $66.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 10.95 to trade at $1417.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.2272, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 96.428.
