Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303), which rose 9.14% or 0.18 points to trade at 2.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) added 6.50% or 1.12 points to end at 18.36 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was up 6.17% or 4.30 points to 74.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210), which fell 3.36% or 4.80 points to trade at 138.00 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270) declined 2.53% or 7.60 points to end at 292.40 and Middle East Paper Co (TADAWUL:1202) was down 2.50% or 0.70 points to 27.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 180 to 89 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.36% or 4.80 to 138.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.23% or 1.91 to $83.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.82% or 1.62 to hit $87.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 11.65 to trade at $2,010.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.41% to 3.98, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 106.08.
