Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.95% or 2.75 points to trade at 30.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 5.52% or 3.20 points to end at 61.20 and Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) was up 4.43% or 1.06 points to 25.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291), which fell 3.92% or 4.20 points to trade at 103.00 at the close. Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) declined 3.40% or 1.75 points to end at 49.65 and Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) was down 2.66% or 2.10 points to 76.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 81 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.95% or 2.75 to 30.40.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.91% or 0.70 to $77.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.94% or 0.78 to hit $83.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 9.25 to trade at $1,827.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 3.97, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 105.32.
