Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Hotels & Tourism and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.97% or 3.00 points to trade at 33.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 8.57% or 2.55 points to end at 32.30 and Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) was up 5.53% or 2.90 points to 55.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which fell 2.56% or 1.900 points to trade at 72.200 at the close. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 2.40% or 1.50 points to end at 61.00 and The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030) was down 1.78% or 0.30 points to 16.56.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 117 to 84 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.86% or 1.68 to $91.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.83% or 1.67 to hit $92.78 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 4.80 to trade at $1808.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.2954, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 95.455.
