Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which rose 9.95% or 20.80 points to trade at 229.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) added 7.24% or 8.20 points to end at 121.40 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 7.12% or 4.70 points to 70.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303), which fell 5.53% or 0.27 points to trade at 4.61 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270) declined 4.14% or 18.00 points to end at 417.00 and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) was down 2.71% or 0.90 points to 32.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 118 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) rose to all time highs; rising 7.12% or 4.70 to 70.70.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.06% or 0.05 to $77.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $82.29 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 2.05 to trade at $2,186.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.34.
