Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280), which rose 10.00% or 0.77 points to trade at 8.47 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) added 9.97% or 6.40 points to end at 70.60 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) was up 9.93% or 2.95 points to 32.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Maather REIT (TADAWUL:4334), which fell 3.51% or 0.32 points to trade at 8.79 at the close. The National Shipping Co. (TADAWUL:4030) declined 1.51% or 0.45 points to end at 29.30 and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380) was down 1.50% or 0.12 points to 7.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 220 to 75 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.31% or 0.24 to $78.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $80.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.70 to trade at $2,509.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 102.35.
