Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Retail, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.40% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011), which rose 8.70% or 1.20 points to trade at 15.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 6.80% or 1.46 points to end at 22.94 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) was up 5.31% or 0.64 points to 12.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which fell 1.91% or 1.10 points to trade at 56.40 at the close. Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) declined 1.57% or 0.18 points to end at 11.30 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was down 1.47% or 0.60 points to 40.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 108 to 75 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.36% or 0.15 to $42.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.66% or 0.30 to hit $45.47 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 27.75 to trade at $2064.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 4.4386, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.953.
