Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Insurance and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 5.80% or 2.15 points to trade at 39.20 at the close. Meanwhile, ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 2.55% or 1.20 points to end at 48.25 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) was up 2.26% or 0.40 points to 18.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which fell 6.25% or 2.85 points to trade at 42.75 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 3.65% or 1.15 points to end at 30.35 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was down 2.95% or 2.00 points to 65.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 83 to 76 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.25% or 0.12 to $47.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.43% or 0.22 to hit $51.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 3.97 to trade at $1292.73 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.44% to 4.4113, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 93.37.
