Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Agriculture & Food and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 4.38% or 1.45 points to trade at 34.55 at the close. Meanwhile, The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) added 3.90% or 3.00 points to end at 80.00 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 3.70% or 4.20 points to 117.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304), which fell 3.77% or 1.75 points to trade at 44.70 at the close. Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) declined 3.25% or 1.80 points to end at 53.50 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was down 1.98% or 1.20 points to 59.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 93 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.64% or 0.59 to $91.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.35% or 0.33 to hit $92.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 8.55 to trade at $1816.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 4.2869, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 95.545.
