Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Cement and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002), which rose 5.10% or 5.00 points to trade at 103.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:2350) added 4.78% or 0.50 points to end at 10.96 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) was up 4.71% or 0.56 points to 12.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:2083), which fell 4.60% or 2.60 points to trade at 53.90 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) declined 4.42% or 10.00 points to end at 216.00 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was down 4.04% or 1.45 points to 34.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 184 to 87 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.63% or 1.31 to $81.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.47% or 1.24 to hit $85.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 2.25 to trade at $1,989.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.72% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.73% at 105.94.
