Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Insurance and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 10.00% or 2.08 points to trade at 22.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 10.00% or 5.70 points to end at 62.70 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) was up 9.40% or 8.80 points to 102.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bawan (TADAWUL:1302), which fell 3.02% or 0.90 points to trade at 28.95 at the close. Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282) declined 2.68% or 1.80 points to end at 65.40 and Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202) was down 2.54% or 6.00 points to 230.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 129 to 113 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 3-years highs; up 10.00% or 2.08 to 22.88. Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) rose to all time highs; rising 9.40% or 8.80 to 102.40.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.95% or 0.76 to $78.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.05% or 0.90 to hit $84.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.30 to trade at $1,857.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.42.
