Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Media & Publishing and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which rose 7.42% or 1.90 points to trade at 27.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 6.05% or 2.45 points to end at 42.95 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) was up 5.01% or 1.50 points to 31.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010), which fell 2.44% or 1.00 points to trade at 40.00 at the close. Mulkia Gulf Real Estate REIT (SE:4336) declined 2.27% or 0.23 points to end at 9.91 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was down 1.99% or 1.40 points to 68.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 93 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.37% or 0.31 to $83.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.53% or 0.45 to hit $85.88 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1841.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.42% to 4.2292, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.162.
