Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170), which rose 9.87% or 2.38 points to trade at 26.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111) added 5.74% or 9.20 points to end at 169.60 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8120) was up 4.12% or 0.40 points to 10.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (TADAWUL:4001), which fell 4.27% or 5.00 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (TADAWUL:4013) declined 3.76% or 8.60 points to end at 220.40 and Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) was down 2.74% or 4.00 points to 142.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 114 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.49% or 1.19 to $81.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.48% or 1.29 to hit $88.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 3.85 to trade at $1,743.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 3.86, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 107.43.
