Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.87% or 2.25 points to trade at 25.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 8.38% or 2.45 points to end at 31.70 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) was up 4.50% or 0.98 points to 22.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which fell 41.98% or 14.40 points to trade at 19.90 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 2.73% or 2.80 points to end at 99.60 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was down 2.70% or 0.70 points to 25.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 92 to 83 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.87% or 2.25 to 25.05.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.88% or 0.45 to $50.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.65% or 0.39 to hit $59.76 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.85 to trade at $1247.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.2646, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 97.023.
