Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.25% to hit a new 5-year high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.96% or 3.70 points to trade at 40.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) added 9.92% or 2.40 points to end at 26.60 and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) was up 9.92% or 2.60 points to 28.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220), which fell 6.21% or 2.60 points to trade at 39.30 at the close. Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) declined 5.49% or 6.00 points to end at 103.20 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) was down 5.27% or 1.08 points to 19.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 62 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.96% or 3.70 to 40.85. Shares in Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.92% or 2.40 to 26.60.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.51% or 0.34 to $65.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.62% or 0.43 to hit $68.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 5.65 to trade at $1692.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.4552, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7516.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 92.218.
