Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Media & Publishing and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.24% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380), which rose 8.91% or 1.00 points to trade at 12.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) added 5.06% or 28.20 points to end at 585.20 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) was up 4.73% or 3.20 points to 70.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200), which fell 3.91% or 5.00 points to trade at 123.00 at the close. Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) declined 3.06% or 2.50 points to end at 79.20 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was down 2.86% or 1.05 points to 35.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 108 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) rose to all time highs; rising 5.06% or 28.20 to 585.20. Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.73% or 3.20 to 70.90.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.88% or 2.72 to $67.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.32% or 2.48 to hit $72.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 10.50 to trade at $1,966.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.19.
